Guy was a part of the radio station for a very long time. New John Sterling certainly well. You remember him joining Joe and I two, three times a week where we would yell at him and say, how come the Yankees haven't done this and this? So I'll bring him in with a familiar discussion, and you don't have to answer it. Hey, sweetie, why did they send Volpe down? Hello, sweetie. How are you?

Obviously, you had a chance to know John, meet John, work with John.

Tell me about what kind of person and personal work with John Sterling was during your experience.

I mean, he was, you know, he loved being the show, right?

Like everything was, was such a great production for him.

I think he loved the atmosphere of what he got to do.

He got to go to Yankee Stadium every day.

And everybody loved him, right?

Like calling that his name. And he is soaking it all in.

He lived for it.

And it's all like a big Broadway production for John,

the lead up to the game, the game itself. And it was just all, you know, he lived for every

part of that. He lived and breathed with the game, right? And you could tell that if you were

listening. And I got a chance to sit next to him a few times when it was going on and you sit there and be like boy he really is annoyed that the Yankees are

losing you know 8 to nothing right now or he really is he really do have such a great time calling

four home runs today and I think that that came through to the listeners.

I think one of the greatest things that you can say about people on the radio.

And we all know a lot of people like this.
