0:24.9	that things are changing, like maybe one is coming. And outside of LinkedIn, where
0:31.2	I work, tons of companies are starting to demand people return to that office.
0:36.7	UPS, IBM, J.P. Morgan Chase, to name a few.
0:42.4	And I'm going to tell you that it's felt vaguely disappointing to me, but I couldn't really pin down why.
0:49.0	Then I stumbled upon a post from Susie Welch in my LinkedIn feed.
0:54.0	Values have consequences, she wrote.
0:57.0	She went on to say, I think 2024 is the year where many of us are going to have to take a hard look at our values around career and lifestyle and make a decision.

1:10.0	I thought the pandemic would at least bring a promise that we could rethink where we need to work
1:15.1	and do more of it from home.
1:17.2	And it did.
1:18.2	We can work remotely, but we will pay a price for it when it comes to our careers.
