Hey guys welcome to episode 105 of the JV club with my wonderful guest

Susie Nakamura. I'm delighted to have had Susie on the podcast. I couldn't

think more highly of her. She's extremely talented and funny and I hope you enjoy the

episode. Shout out wise I feel like I have a lot to cover today so I just want to

also acknowledge you know I got a couple of emails following my episode with

Aisha Tyler regarding the kind of tossed off remarks that were made about CEOs being overpaid for nonprofit organizations.

And it was something that Aisha had mentioned.

I think I sort of, you know, responded with an agreement

and then changed the subject. But I, I, it really ruffled some feathers and I want to

acknowledge that I understand that and I totally

respect that. I wasn't really thinking hard about what Aisha was saying. I was kind of trying

to move the podcast forward to into kind of tightening it up and getting mash completed and all that good stuff.

But as a person who had a CEO of goodwill industries in my life for many, many years growing up, who was very well

paid, I have to say, I took no issue whatsoever with her salary.

She worked incredibly hard as hard as any CEO if not harder. So anyway I just

wanted to acknowledge that. I want to thank Laura specifically and also

calling that stuff to my attention
