To quote Samuel Johnson: “There is nothing which has yet been contrived by man, by which so much happiness is produced as by a good tavern”. And whilst we agree with what Sam was saying, we think that listening to comedian and writer Suzi Ruffell create her dream pub will bring you even more happiness than the tavern he kept banging on about.
As she's poured a pint by Landlord John Robins and pulls up a stool at the bar next to the ever-present Robin Allender, Suzi picks the 7 drinks that will populate her dream tap house and reminisces about pub memories past. What pictures will adorn the walls? What wildcard drink will be on offer? Will it be the sort of pub where singalongs are encouraged? All will be revealed in due course.
