I talked to you a little bit about I-Bonds.

And I told you that as soon as we knew

what the new I-Bond rate probably would be,

that I would let you know on the podcast.

But I didn't want you to have to wait

for a number of podcasts till I could update you.

I wanted to update you right here and right now.

So, inflation figures came out today.

And CPI is running hot.

So it is totally possible that on May 1st,

the new series I-Bond rate will be 9.62%.

Which I don't even have words for if that is true.

So if you have not yet purchased your I-Bonds for this year,

remember the maximum that you can purchase per person

is $10,000.

Remember, if you have a trust,

even if you have the same Social Security number
