On April 14, 2022, 12-year old Sean Daugherty passed away unexpectedly in Yorktown, Virginia. Sean’s death was ruled a suicide, but the circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious. 0:55.0	Someone originally posted about it in the Military Murder Podcast Facebook group.
1:00.0	As I typically get so many case recommendations on a weekly basis, I skimmed the Facebook page dedicated to this particular case and I felt really bad.
1:08.0	Then, a friend of mine and fellow military spouse, True Crime Podcast or Holly from Crime on Hollacks was like, girl, are you gonna cover this case or what?
1:17.0	And by this point, I went back to the Facebook page, though what happened to Sean Facebook page.
1:22.0	And I saw that the Sheriff's Office had made a statement. I watched all 10 minutes of it and after I was done, I thought, wow, that was really weird.
1:33.0	So I reached out to the team running the what happened to Sean Facebook page. Initially, I was just going to do a quick tick talk about this case.
1:41.0	But it seemed like the more I dug into it and the more information that I saw and read, I just felt like I had to do a full podcast episode to kind of explain everything that the family has told.
