This week we're featuring the second of our four-part series on the church in the public square,

and I'm pleased to speak with Susanna Black Roberts.

You know, ever since the Apostle Paul told the Romans that the governing authorities were God's servants to whom they should

submit, Christians have struggled to understand their relationship to an often antagonistic

state. For more than 30 years, Whitehorse Inn and Modern Reformation have applied

two kingdoms, theology I might call it, to our modern cultural and political arena.

But for this series of programs,

I wanted to talk to a broad range of thinkers,

even those I personally disagree with,

to hear in their own words how they understand the relationship of the

Christian to politics. So throughout the month of November the White Horse Inn is

presenting a four-part series on the Church in the Public Square and I'll be hosting
