And today we are so excited to welcome to the podcast, Sister Susan Porter, a member of the Relief Society General Board.

Sister Porter, welcome. And thank you for being here. Thank you so much. We're so glad to have you.

As a quick introduction, Sister Porter was born in Oklahoma, raised in rural New York. She and her husband,

Bruce Porter, raised their four children kind of all over the United States and the world,

Massachusetts, Virginia, Germany, and Utah. Elder Porter was called as a member of the 70 and

1995, and she served with him as he served in the Middle East and North Africa area and the Europe East area of the church.

Elder Porter passed away in December of 2016, and Sister Porter was called the next year to the General Relief Society Board in 2017.

And she plays such an important role on the board and I think brings so many important perspectives and life experiences.
