The first time I really fell in love I was really young. I was 17 and I lived overseas. I lived in Israel when I was a teenager and I fell in love with someone from South America,

also a teenager. I wrote about him actually in the Four Noble Trues of Love because he

taught me so much about love.

I just fell madly in love with him.

It was like waking up in a different orbit, and we live together and it was a deep love. It was not like a teenager love. But I thought, well, is this it?

Is this my life?

Am I going to be with this person forever?

I'm 17 years old.

And am I going to live in this foreign country?

Is this it?

It could have been.

But I was like, no, I have a lot more to live before something like this happens.

Little than I will be like 30 more years.

But I have a lot more to live before something like this happens. I can't see it.

So we would talk about breaking up and we would just hold each other and cry because it just didn't make sense to stay together over again.

So one night, we would lie on our bed and cry.

And one night he said to me, I think you should go home into America.

And I knew, I knew that that was heartbreaking for both of us.

And I asked him what made him say that?

And he said, because I love you more than I love us and that was oh my

God who wouldn't fall in love with someone that would say something like that
