Hey, everybody. Welcome to Why Mommy Drinks. This is Betsy Stover. And today I am joined

by my co-host for life, Ari Bukides. It's me. Oh boy. By the way, every time you introduce

me, no matter what I say, you go, oh boy. And I experiment every time you introduce me,

I'm like, how can I respond that she's not going to be like, I'm going to push this thing

up the hill again. And every single time your existence is exhausting. Where she just makes

eye contact immediately goes, remember, you're only co-host for life. Oh, and then I make

a cutting sound. Cutting sound. Cutting sound. You're cutting sound. That's like an old

Mormon ceremony that they finally took out. When they cut across the, that's what they used

to do in the temple. They used to have, that you had to do this like slash across the throat

to show that if anybody's an enemy against Mormonism, they'll be taken out. But, you know,

years ago, they kind of took it out of the thing because they were like, this is bad. Yeah, that

religion's gone through some important system upgrades. Oh, yeah, especially because Mormon

apologists in quotes, they, they, they are the people who kind of defend scripture. They

really are apologists in a world. Yeah. Um, dear listener, let me introduce to you our fantastic

guest. She, as you see, as you can hear is an incredibly smart person. She is hilarious. I know

her as an amazing improv comedian. She also is, I think, one of the bad, not even my opinion,

she's one of the best improv teachers gurus out in the world. And she's just the fucking what? Oh,

no. I want to say guru. That's creepy, isn't it? Well, you're my guru. Is there a

weird scene? I would, if you were next to me, Betsy, I would bite you and joy. Oh, thank you.

I really would. Um, but she is an amazing person. And I'm so excited to have her on the show.
