And the thing we wanted to talk to him about today is his new book, he's written a novel

1:05.8

that relates to reality TV, but also a lot of the themes that make reality TV and

1:10.4

its emergence so interesting. The novel is Escape. I have read it. I've actually been trying, we've been trying to set this up for a few weeks, so happy to we finally do it. 2:17.4

just confess to having done,

2:19.3

there are a lot of people who I look at and think,

2:21.5

oh yeah,

2:21.8

this is obviously like the type of person who's just made for reality TV,

2:24.7

who would obviously do anything to get on television.

2:28.6

Reality TV is their best avenue in because of how they behave,

2:32.9

how they conduct themselves.
