All right, everybody. Welcome finally to the finale edition of survivor Mania for survivor

season 43. Sorry for the delay. You guys know we were in Miami for the five year anniversary

show of challenge Mania, but Lindsey and I watched this finale live in Miami. Lindsay

was wide awake when her prophecy came true. Wait, no, you were in fact sleeping when

Gabler was revealed to be the winner of survivor 43. You slept through your crowning achievement

as a podcast prognostocator. It was almost like I woke up in a dream. I heard someone calling

my name far, far away. And it almost seemed like it was, it was not really happening in

real life, but it was in fact reality that was happening before our eyes.

Once you did predict this early on in the season, I'll let you kind of walk us through this.

We then we, you know, we went back. We watched the entire post show. What do they call it now?

I guess reunion, but it's not really a reunion. It's more of like an after show. We got

people's thoughts in the moment, but what walk us through from your perspective, how Gabler

eventually pulled out this win? Because you called this very early where I was kind of

with you to a certain degree at that point, but they had really, I think put him on the

back burner of the edit to use the e-word here to where I had kind of lost all faith or

hope that this was on the table. And then I was actually delighted that we were treated

to a surprise here in the finale. So walk us through what you think happened here.

Well, first of all, I want everyone to know that I was not sleeping because it was boring.

I was sleeping because we had had a long travel day. We had, we had flown from New York

City to Miami that day. We had been so excited to see my dad and been having the kids play

with him that we let them stay up late. And so we did not get to this, you know, until

I was already ready for bed. And it was hard to stay awake, but not because I was in any
