All right, what's up? Welcome in to Snuffin' Torches Survivor Season 50, Episode 5 recap.

I'm not sure if, well, we're definitely not live right now. I'm not sure if I'm going to air this as like a premiere so that you guys love the chat. Like I'll either air this where like a 935 it goes live and the chat can watch as if it's live or I'll just drop it as a video at 935. I'm not sure what I'll do with that. Either way, welcome in. Got myself, Nate, John Rich Clemer. We're pre-recording today.

I had some more conflicts later, so got ahead of it, got the screener. Let me start by saying,

I love this episode of Survivor. I thought it was one of my favorite episodes in years. I don't

know if I'm maybe being overreactionary. Maybe I was just in the right mindset for it this morning.

But to me, it was like, obviously it's not the craziest votes of all time, but I thought there was so much good stuff, so many good character moments, so much good storytelling, good challenge, good tribals.

I really, I just loved this episode from start to finish. It was good. It was fine. It was a good episode. I would say it was in like the, I think it's like 30% of survivors are better than this. I don't really understand. This is one of the best ones you've been to see. Okay. The back one of the best Survivor episodes of all time.

You set me up for-

Yeah.

That's fair.

I just, I really, really enjoy.

Like, I think maybe it was just so enjoyable throughout from start to finish where we got coach being coach.

We got Ozzy being Ozzy.

I loved that challenge.

I thought that was like a really fun challenge.

You got Jonathan versus Joe versus Ozzy.

We had two tribals where it was like going to go one way or the other, but I'm happy with the result it went in each way. Like, we thought maybe Christian's going to go. Then Angelina goes, which I think is better for the show. Is it going to be Charlie or Rizzo? Charlie goes, which I think is better for the show. That was the true blind side, too. I just think everything from start to finish, one of the most enjoyable episodes where nothing crazy happened is maybe a good way to put it.

But to me, that was just straight-up great survivor.

Yeah, I wish we could start this episode over because you set us all three of us up for failure
