Welcome in to the Survivor 47 finale recap from Snuffin Torches.

Got me, Nate, and Clemer.

Last episode of the season, obviously, that's what a finale is.

We get our winner.

Rachel wins over Sam and Sue at the end.

Honestly, to me, that was one of the most boring finalies in the history of Survivor.

I don't think it was helped by the fact that it was only two hours.

I know we kept thinking, oh, they're having these, you know, it's a two-part finale,

and they're both two hours, like something crazy is going to happen.

Turns out there was no logical reason for that, at least within the show. I think it

ended up hurting this episode, because I think if we had, you know, Final Five last night where,

you know, you have Genevieve and kind of going against Rachel, maybe there's a little more

suspense as to who's going to win, but the second Rachel won that final challenge tonight, I felt that.

It was basically just a racial coronation. Now, I thought Sam did a really good job at Final Tribal,

and I think that, you know, the editors did a good job making it look like he had more of a shot

than he did. But overall, this just felt like a racial coronation.

A good winner, a great season, but a lackluster ending.

Yeah.
