Everybody what's going on Rob Cisterino back here for our survivor exit interview double exit interview edition as we saw two players go home in episode nine of survivor 43.

Those two players are going to be James and Ryan as we're going to hear from both of them coming up here in this double exit interview podcast. Even and I had a lot of interesting discussion I thought about this episode and what it all means moving forward on the survivor know it all moving forward from here.

Good morning. How are you? I'm great. I mean, went out great fashion a lot to take me out the game to keep me kind of kind of guessing on the island. So I'm excited.

I feel like I played hard and you know, this way, but sometimes yeah, you definitely did was great episode last night. I want to talk some of the questions about everything that went on. Let's start off with you and Owen.

And I thought that that was really some like classic survivor moments you and him going back and forth. Can you just talk about that relationship from your perspective and what was going on there overall.

I think it was miscommunication, but I think it started with of course, but I think it started with the Dwight vote where I told Sammy out to Owen. We're voting out Dwight. This is before tribal and Owen does and believe me.

And Owen goes back to other people and he's out of the vote. So I feel like at that point, it was kind of like, hey, you voted for me. So I'm like, you voted for me. I thought I told you the plan. Like I was trying to work with you. So this whole.

Everybody is against me thing. I'm just like, no, there's not how it was out there. It's kind of like you make kind of choices. So that was my thought process. So I wasn't really too worried about it. I was just like, why are you mad at me when everybody else is lying to like Sammy? You're going to be so Sammy.

You are all merged. But you're like, why am I the person, you know, getting this. And that's why I was kind of saying like, I don't owe you anything one, two. What do you want me to do? You voted for me twice.

Yeah. So with Owen last time out, you had said to him, vote for Ryan. He seemed upset with that. Why was that the right decision for you to tell him to vote for Ryan and not Janine?
