And we're very happy to have you join us this week. We hope you're experiencing some beautiful weather as we move into April.

This week, rather than talking about beautiful weather in spring, we're going to be discussing burnout and how to recognize

if you are in a psychic burnout phase of your life.

So our plan is to go through the signs of psychic burnout, reasons behind it, and then of course,

conclude with some good strategies, tips and suggestions for moving out of a burnout phase.

But before we dive into that, Deb has chosen a card for us. Would you like to start us off?

I'm delighted to do so.

Ironically, you know, when I pick a card for the week when it's my turn to do this, I just close my eyes and say,

Interestingly, the card that came up is perfectly counter to our discussion, which I think might be helpful for folks to revisit at the end of our talk.

It is the six of cups. And in the weight rider deck, that key depicts a little boy handing a little girl a cup filled with flowers

in front of this lovely happy cottage. So this key denotes happy childhood memories, happy events and new friendship, gifts, new knowledge, and new opportunities.

And if the key is reversed, which this one was not, but if it is, it's about living too much in the past and clinging to outworn manners and inappropriate relationships perhaps.

But I found that this key was an interesting counterpoint to feeling so burned out because this key is about hope and it's about memory and about filling your life with flowers and joy, which I think is probably where we're going to end up at the end of our hour.
