0:04.0	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be surviving and maintaining the no contact rule.
0:10.0	So I've got an email and I really like this email because you can really get a sense of this guy's mindset
0:17.0	and his inner struggle that he's gone through over the past year.
0:21.6	He had a bad breakup about a year ago before finding my work and he said his ex broke his
0:26.6	heart into pieces.
0:28.5	And so it's interesting as he says he gets calls from different numbers all the time.
0:33.6	He gets messages or people trying to follow his Instagram account, which is hidden.
0:41.3	And he can tell it's probably his ex.
0:43.5	It's still trying to kind of come back into his life.
0:47.2	You can tell he's struggle with it.
0:48.7	He's struggling to kind of keep her at bay, not open the door to let her back in
0:53.6	because he's come to recognize that
0:55.6	she's just toxic and not good for him. And this is something that everybody struggles with,
1:01.0	whether it's maybe a good friend that you grew up with and you've known your whole life
1:04.7	who just consistently screws you over and does things that aren't kind. Kind of like what I talked about in mastering yourself, an old friend of mine who,
1:14.1	I got a brand new exotic car, something I've been dreaming about for years,
1:19.1	and drove it to work one day.
1:22.5	He wanted to take it and borrow it the next day.
1:24.5	I let him do it, and he wrecked a damn thing.
1:27.0	And that was just one of
1:27.9	many things that this particular guy had done, which was just a dick move on his part. And eventually,
