Summary

Retired Sacramento Sheriff's Deputy Carol Daly was on the original East Area Rapist Task Force during his reign of terror from 1976 to 1979. And even after Carol returned to the homicide division when the East Area Rapist seemed to go dormant, she continued to support and advocate for his numerous victims. Jane Carson was East Area Rapist victim #5, and one of the many helped by Carol Daly right after her attack.
