0:00.0 | Hey, everybody. What's going on? Rob sister? I'm back with another survivor burning question for episode number five of survivor 44. I really loved this week's episode. |
0:11.0 | It had a great time in Raleigh talking about it at our live show with our panel. And so super fun to be there in person with so many people that have been enjoying the season and all the content that we've been doing. |
0:25.0 | So excited to be back here once again. Let me quickly just shout out our editor Jill who's been doing a great job with helping me get these podcasts and videos out to you for this series, which I've enjoyed doing so much this season. |
0:39.0 | Today we are talking about something that came up on this week's episode. And while we did not have a tribal council. If we did, it would have been only the fourth time in survivor history that a tribe with only three people has gone to tribal council. And that is what today's video is all about. It's about players surviving a three person tribal council before the marriage. |
1:06.0 | I know I listen everybody in the comments. I know Rob doesn't know how to survive a three person tribal council. Easy. Okay. We're talking about before the merge. And what we're talking about is what would have happened had Josh, Carolyn and Jam Jam gone to tribal council. |
1:23.0 | I mean, I think we do know what would have happened that Josh would have gone home. But I do want to talk about what happens when three people go to tribal council. And specifically, how does one person ultimately end up being the person who goes home. |
1:40.0 | And what does it mean for the two people who survive the vote? I mentioned that there were three times previously in survivor history where we have had a tribe go to tribal council with just three people before the merge. |
1:54.0 | All three of those scenarios. I've gone back and watched and all of them. I think played out pretty differently with very different results moving forward for how we impacted the rest of the game. And so that is what I'd like to talk about here with you today as we take a look back at the end of the video. |
2:10.0 | We had survivors three previous pre merge tribal councils. Now, of course, the first time this happens. I'm sure a lot of people remember it was back in survivor pull out as long was circling the drain. It was Stephanie. |
2:27.0 | It was Bobby John and it was Ibrahim. And it was on day 18 at Ulong was going to go to tribal council once again. Now I went back and I looked at what had happened at the vote prior to the three person vote. |
2:41.0 | I mean, in this case in survivor pull out it was a two to tie where it was actually Stephanie and James Miller had voted together at the final for my stuff, my staff. And he voted with her. And it was Bobby John and Ibrahim. And it's they had a seemingly unbreakable connection the two of them. They were both from the great state of Alabama. And they did have a bond over that. |
3:07.0 | And so Ibrahim, though, he just seemed like he was at a gas at this point in the game. And he's a big strong guy. And a lot of times you see where athletes they get on the show. And they just started like burning so many calories. They don't have a lot in the tank. |
3:23.0 | Ibrahim, after they end up losing the challenge, seems like he doesn't really even want to talk. And Stephanie, such a motor that she has as a survivor player. And she's somebody who just like this story of her, especially all through Palau is that she just is going to like keep on going. |
3:46.0 | She doesn't quit unless it's on a endurance challenge. And she has the chance to eat pizza. But Stephanie just has so much tenacity. |
3:55.0 | Ultimately, we see Ibrahim and Bobby John and they're talking Ibrahim is talking about how he doesn't even want to go to tribal council. |
4:04.0 | Bobby John or at least vote at tribal council. He feels like everybody deserves to be there. Bobby John ultimately is the swing boat. |
4:11.0 | We don't really hear any sort of campaigning from Ibrahim to Bobby John. What we do see is Stephanie really trying to campaign to Bobby John. |
4:23.0 | And Stephanie is saying like, hey, I think that you know, you really need to keep me and she is like trying to lay out the case. |
4:31.0 | But I know that we said if it was last three, really, yeah. |
4:36.0 | Yeah, but I want to kind of wait before we start talking about it. I don't really want to talk about it. |
4:40.0 | And the only thing that we hear Bobby John say is that he thinks that Stephanie would be more upset if he voted her out than Ibrahim ultimately would be. |
4:50.0 | But Bobby John is giving her nothing. He says nothing. He says that he doesn't want to talk about it. |
