A few months ago, our team was working on a case involving a girl who, along with her siblings,

survived a home invasion in 1993 in which a man broke in and killed both of their parents.

That girl was Fallon Farinacchi, and she is now a dedicated advocate for missing

and murdered indigenous people working to bring awareness, justice, and policy changes to

address the crisis affecting indigenous communities. And so in honor of May being National
