Summary

The Kansas City Chiefs were on the ropes in a battle with the Indianapolis Colts, but Patrick Mahomes came up clutch with an overtime victory and kept their playoff hopes alive. The Detroit Lions survived an onslaught from the New York Giants and Jameis Winston to keep pace with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North. Speaking of the Bears, they scraped by a Pittsburgh Steelers team led by Mason Rudolph that looked bleak at times. Joe Burrow did not return for the Cincinnati Bengals, but that didn't prevent the New England Patriots from playing with their food before securing a victory. One of the NFC's best, the Seattle Seahawks, had control for most of the day, but kept their win streak going with a one-score win over the Tennessee Titans. The Los Angeles Rams ROLLED the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and are making a strong case they are the best team in the NFL while Matthew Stafford makes an MVP case. The other NFC favorite, the Philadelphia Eagles, got handed a bad loss by the Dallas Cowboys, making the Rams case stronger.
