The immigration debate, the gun control debate, American farm policy.

The journalistic analysis of the Boston bombings is most revealing, as Rojoc tests often are.

From WNYC in New York, this is on the media. I'm Bob Garfield. The alleged bomber, we're told,

has cited the Al-Qaeda magazine, Inspire, as the source of inspiration for the pressure cooker bombs.

One reporter says, maybe, maybe not. I don't know what it is, but for some reason, this magazine

just seems to bring out the worst in reporting.

Also, a veteran launches a satirical blog, which turns out to do some seriously good work.

I've gotten messages from guys that say, you know, I have PTSD, and this is the only thing that makes me laugh.

And I get those messages, and I'm just blown away.

I'm Bob Garfield. Last week's bombings at the Boston Marathon were about alienation. The narrative that's

taking shape around the Sarnaya brothers is one of a couple of guys who sort of alienated from

their local mosque, who more or less self-radicalized, and looked stuff up on the internet.

No, that isn't right. The murder of three innocents and the grievous injury to hundreds were

an object lesson on immigration.
