night before. Last night, most of us went to bed knowing that Boris Johnson failed in his

bid to get an election after the rabble of lines passed the surrender bill

that forces him to go back to Brussels cap in hand to beg for another deal,

or an extension to Article 50, effectively delaying the Brexit once more

and frustrating the will of the people, once more.

I also fully expected the House of Lords to robustly stand up to the Hillary Bend bill last night,

but all that very much changed during the course of time where they were looking at it.

I thought it was going to take forever to get through the second chamber.
