Happy Monday. Welcome back to the Greg Hill Show, Courtney, Wiggy, Curtis, Shime, Jackson, all here. Greg is off celebrating his love's birthday. Two weekends in a row of gorgeous birthday celebrations from the romantic Gregory Hill. Lindsay, a very lucky lady. So happy birthday to her. I believe her birthday is today. Is it today? The 28th. Yes. So happy birthday to Lindsay.

I hope they do something for it. I do too. I do too. We still have some leads left.

So Curtis, good morning. Good morning. So no spoilers here, okay. But I did not lower my expectations for Happy Gilmore 2 enough.

I saw a friend Saturday and a couple said that it was awesome, one of the best movies they've seen in a while.

It was just so great and nostalgic.

And I entered with the wrong frame of mind. The way they begin this movie,

and it is fine. If you have the right, I am so happy for Adam Sandler. He's built an unbelievable

career. He's got his kids in it. I'm sure almost all of us would do the same thing. I'm not angry

about it. It doesn't make me mad. But if you have

30 years to come up with the opening scene and you choose that, I'm out. Like, you, it's the,

you literally, we could do a crowd sourcing of it right now and come up with 500 better ideas.

However, I will give credit to Taylor Swift's

better half and Kelsey has a great cameo. One of the great sneaky moments is Jordan

Speath bitching about Tangaree and Bombay Sapphire Gin right up my alley. It is a feel-good

movie, but I would, if you haven't seen it and you loved Happy Gilmore

I would just view this as a bonus track not as a replica or something that's going to take

the movie to a new level have a couple drinks whatever you want to drink sit back back, maybe get high. That might help, but

do not enter it with any expectations. I think that that's how you should have gone into it.

And I understand if you're being told the day before that it's amazing, it's amazing, it's great,

then your expectations are going to be high. But there's no way you can replicate that

original movie. There's no way that the new one was going to surpass it. But you're right. It's a bonus. For me watching it, and this isn't a spoiler, but Travis Kelsey aside, the amount of celebrities that they got for this movie, the amount of professional golfers for this movie. And I want to say one thing, but I don't know if it's a spoiler.

It's okay. I mean, we're not talking about, you know, the... It's an Adam Sandler movie. Okay, all right. Okay. The Will Zalotaurus part. Tremendous. It was, so, and I asked Wiggy before because I know Wiggy doesn't follow golf. I have no clue. When Will Zalotaurus came on the scene, everybody was like, he looks like the caddy, Adam Sandler's caddy and Happy Gilmore, the original. And it was like a big thing. It was all over social media. People were making memes out of it. And the fact that they made that an actual thing in the second one, I won't say how it goes. And him constantly cursing under his breath is so good. It was, and he played it, like, credit to Will. He was great. He was so good. Yeah, so good. The big winner, if there was a winner, was the PGA. 100%. They looked so cool. The fact that, like, Jordan Spee is the guy that you always see kind of angry and grumpy, like, poking fun at himself.
