So disheartening COVID numbers coming back.

I don't want to sound bloodless, but it's very low and remains sort of like in the category

of a bad flu.

If it remains at this number, the fear of course is that it won't remain at this number

that the infections will be get new infections and that just new tautism, the death rate

will rise and that will of course start putting interesting cross pressures politically from

those who believe that we loose in restrictions too quickly and we'll want to reimpose them

to protect everybody, particularly when schooling and other things that are coming up in a

couple of months after the summer begins to decline and end.

However this is one case in which I think the culture war for those of us who are irritated
