everything has a peak and the peak of the Quran is Bakkara.

It seems like it has all different kinds of subjects, but actually if you look at it carefully it's

building a very powerful argument and one of the most powerful arguments that

Suritul Bakara makes is the argument of the identity of the Muslim.

So when we talk seriously about the identity

we have not just as an individual, but as an UMA,

then this is the first and foremost Surah

that we have to look at.

And so I want to first illustrate that there are three main components as far as history

before we get to these Ayat. And by the way, I'll tell you what these aeata are about in a minute.

The first, the earliest story mentioned in Bakara

is the story of Adam Ali his sonam.

And the battle between, essentially, there are two camps.

There's the side of the angels and there's the side of the Sha'atine, right?

And Adam, Aga his Sala, is right in the middle.

And the children of Adam will have to choose, whether they will choose the side of the angels or the side of the sha'atine.

That's what's going to have to happen.

Then the story moves forward and Allah gives us a very long history of the Jewish people, the Banu Israel.
