Okay, you know the drill. Sometimes we record interviews a little bit ahead of time during the week because it works out for everybody's schedule.

As it turns out, right now I'm talking on Thursday because a big story just broke and we're bringing in

Chuck Michelle Associates, president of the California Rifle Pistol Association,

a key Second Amendment attorney in California,

but also arguing cases in filing briefs that affect everything across the country, Chuck.

But this story today, coming out of the Supreme Court, I guess we have three cases before the

Supreme Court that have been argued and we just got a decision today.

They're not necessarily Second Amendment cases, but they do affect the second amendment and guns right?

Yes more and more cases that involve the second amendment at least

secondarily are being decided based on First Amendment

grounds.

We've got gun showcases going on in California right now where the primary argument is First

Amendment.

And today we got a great win from the United States Supreme Court, a unanimous decision, no less,

that said that the New York state officials cannot use threats of regulatory action

against primarily banks insurance companies but any business that does business with some entity in this case

the NRA that they don't like politically and so this is really the the gun ban lobby
