I'm Pastor Mike Winger. In the 2015 Obergefell decision the U.S. Supreme Court

0:16.9

ruled to change the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples. This is a careful analysis of why that decision was wrong

legally, morally, and philosophically. I ask you to think with me, I beg you to

0:31.3

think carefully about this issue as we evaluate the four reasons

careful to not say gay marriage or say as little as I can and say same sex

1:34.0

marriage because that's the actual issue for instance right now if a gay man and

1:40.9

a gay woman said I want to get married for whatever reason they're allowed to get married

1:45.7

If a straight man and a gay woman want to get married they can get married

1:48.8

The state has no interest in their sexual orientation opinions. It's just that they're opposite sex.

That's what marriage is.
