Look, I'm a 44-year-old dude.

I would venture to guess many dudes my age, no guys in law enforcement, cops, former cops,

federal, state, local, military.

I know a lot of guys in that world.

And as it pertains to the police world, I love to talk about crime with them, criminals,

trying to get inside a mind of people.

And you know, everybody likes a good action cop movie.

I want to know, what are the stories?

There is a disturbing thing that has come up over and over and over again throughout the

course of my life that I have run into when I have conversations with my cop friends. And that disturbing thing

is this. Murderers. That's a bad thing, right, to be a murderer. Murderers. Murderers can reform.

Have a change of heart. I'm not saying let him out of prison or anything like that. I'm not saying that,

but they can reform, genuinely repent. I never want to kill again. Thieves. Same thing. This is bad.

Tired to live in this life. I would have got, thieves can reform. Hey, I never want to be a thief again.

Drug guys. Same thing. It's bad. I decided I'm

going to change my ways. Never want to change it again. My cop friends have told me my entire life
