Once again, the Supreme Court fails to protect us from Donald Trump.

We have two late rulings this morning. Chief Justice John Roberts, acting on his own,

just issued a temporary stay of a circuit court's order for the Trump administration

to return Kilmar-Abrego-Garcia to the United States

from an El Salvador in prison where he was accidentally sent after ICE

incorrectly identified him as a gang member who, ICE incorrectly said, had his legal

protective status revoked. Not true. his legal protective status revoked not true his legal protected status

had not been revoked nobody in the courts is denying ICE accidentally sent him down there

that it was an accident in 2019 Garcia was given protected legal status by an immigration judge, who ruled it

wouldn't be safe for Garcia to be sent back to El Salvador due to threats against his life

made by criminal gangs. ICE admitted they made a mistake, but the Trump administration insisting there's nothing

they can do now that Garcia is no longer in their custody. A circuit court panel of judges ruled

late Monday that ICE had to bring Garcia home by midnight Monday night.

But then John Roberts, Chief Justice, issuing an emergency stay late Monday night ruling,

Garcia must stay in the El Salvador in prison until his case can be resolved.

How bad is this ruling?

It's bad.

Chief Justice Roberts should have refused to hear this case and said the lower court's ruling stands.
