0:58.0	So about a month from now, on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, we will be observing World Down syndrome Day.
1:06.9	And this is when the world comes together across all continents of the globe to raise
1:12.0	awareness, stand in support, and celebrate the lives of individuals with and families impacted
1:18.4	by Down syndrome. So in preparation for that day, we wanted to release an episode to provide
1:24.4	awareness and education for you, the audience,
1:31.3	and to provide some content and practical information that you can share with your online community
1:34.7	as that special day approaches,
1:36.8	and we all try to spread awareness and provide support for those with Down syndrome.
1:41.9	It's also known as trisomy 21
1:45.0	because individuals with Down syndrome have an extra copy of chromosome 21.
1:50.0	So they have three copies instead of two.
