privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I am, this is kind of a surprise podcast. I didn't

think I would be able to do another one before I went to surgery, but actually I've had

so many of you on my mind. And I've been getting more messages than I can keep up with

and more sweet encouragement. I'm so glad that many of you are being encouraged and maybe

even feel identified with by reaching, by reading help I'm drowning. There's so many more

things I could have said. There's so many more people as I've met since I actually

finished the edits of the book that I thought, oh, you are so precious, you are so dear

and I'm so sorry, you're isolated or lonely or have had so much trouble and marriage

or with your children or whatever. So this is a little bit in response to that because

I'm for some of you who know me personally, you know that really I discipleship is my background.

What does that mean? It means that I was disgusted a little bit and turned off from Christianity

because I didn't know any great Christians. They were just all pretty mediocre and I just

talked about this in my membership actually. People were just fast just as much and they

were just as lazy and they were just as excellent and they were just as whatever. And you know,

I was my idealistic teenager, later teens and entering into college and then in college.

And then some believers at a particular time, I believe there was a movement of God in the

early 70s at the same time that there were so many other battles and so many other assassinations
