Granta's goodness, granta's ease and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala have mercy upon our offspring

Those to come right up to the end

Brothers and sisters, we are talking of supplications from revelation and I want to make mention of a powerful

supplication in Surat A'ala Imran that Allah makes mention of people who fought with

The Prophet peace be upon him against the enemy and they made a specific du'a

Or the prophets of Allah against their enemies and they made a specific du'a

Allah says you know what we gave them the goodness of this world as well as the next

And Allah says I love those who do good

So what is that supplication?

Rabbanahu firla na dunu bana wa isra fa nafi

Amrinahu wa Thabbita qada wa surna ala ala amil kaafirin

What a powerful du'a

O our Rabb forgive our sins and forgive our excessiveness in our affair

You know if we have gone wrong if we have done something

Israaf is normally connected to that which is excessive

So here we are asking for forgiveness for that which was excessive
