Hello believers, non-believers, and everyone in between. on our way to singing lessons, just like

any other Thursday.

My husband was driving, I was in the passenger seat, we stopped at a four-way intersection

near our house, and something across the street on the left corner immediately caught my eye, a brown-skinned woman wearing

all bright red with what looked like white bags in both hands. She was standing completely still

at the corner. I assumed she was waiting for all the cars to pass so she could cross the

street. But even when it would have been her turn to cross, she didn't move.

She just stood there.

And the entire time she stood there, I could not take my eyes off of her.

Because I was trying to figure out what was going on with her head.

This isn't even entirely accurate of what I saw, but if I had to describe it,

it was as if she had big textured hair and then her entire head was covered in panty hose.

It was like nothing was registering clearly as I looked at her, like there was some sort of filter over her head, blurring her features in real time.

My husband turned left and I was able to get a closer look at her, and even when I was closer to her, her face and head still did not make sense.

But what I could make out were her eyes.

They seemed to be brighter than the rest of her face.

And I felt like she was looking right at me.

I thought maybe my husband got a good look at her, so I turned to him and asked,

did you see that lady?

And he said, what lady?

And I'm like, what do you mean what lady?

The lady in all red who was standing at the corner.
