Well, I grew up in Illinois, went to a Bible school of Moody in Chicago, went on to a

seminary at Talbot and went on to earn the doctorate at Dallas Seminary, went to the

northwest where Pat and I, my wife, had not ever been before and began our teaching career

at Multnomah School of the Bible and after four years was invited to come to Western Seminary

in the same town, Portland, Oregon, and I was there for 40 years and retired about nine years ago.

again, I don't believe any of that stuff. You know, I'm too sophisticated for that. So in your journey, what makes you not one of those?

I think I can clearly say that I've wanted to have my heart open to whatever the Lord would
