Welcome to Unbiased Science, where we bring scientific method to the madness.

We're your host, Dr. Jess Steyer, and Dr. Sarah Scheinman.

And today we are talking about something that does not get talked about enough, and that is

0:37.4

anti-microbial resistance.

0:40.6

We have a very special guest who Sarah will introduce in just one moment. Before we do a super

0:46.6

quick update on the happenings in public health, something that caught my attention yesterday

1:53.7

positive association. However, those are not causal. The authors of those studies have actually

1:59.5

explicitly said that they're not causal.

2:02.7

And the authors were not able to disentangle, okay, is it the Tylenol or is it the underlying

2:09.2

reason why the pregnant mom reached for the Tylenol that could have some sort of a link,

2:16.6

potentially to autism? So this is really

2:19.8

frustrating. We have a lot of very scared pregnant people in our DMs right now, and it's just
