Hey everyone, welcome back to LOLL Storytime, the Goofy Story Podcast for Kids.

Today's story is called Super Strong and features characters that share names with listeners Ray, Ella, and Selena.

Ray and Ella listened to the podcast on their way to soccer practice, and Selena tells me she listens to the stories every night with her mom.

She also gets a kick out of hearing characters that have the same names as many of her friends at school.

Ray, Ella, and Selena were among hundreds of other kids in their town who had tried to

register to become members of the

junior detectives club. And of everyone who applied, only 20 kids were chosen by a random draw.

One of those kids was Ray, who immediately upon finding out, burst through the school doors

desperate to tell the exciting news to anyone who would listen.

I did it! I got in! yelled Ray. I still can't believe it. Selina, Ella, have either of you heard yet?

Both Ella and Selena shook their heads. Well, don't worry. There's still time. They're calling everyone

throughout the day. Oh man, I really hope you both get to be junior detectives with me.

Sadly, when Selena got home that day, her parents broke it to her that she had not been picked.

Sorry, kiddo.

I know that's disappointing for you, but don't worry.

We found something even better than the junior detectives club.
