I've always wanted to be a Gumba.

They were a late addition to the game, apparently.

They needed an easier one-hit enemy in the first

game, or first Super Mary Brothers game, to introduce players to the idea of jumping on the heads

of things. So that's why they're such a simple sprite, apparently. Next, we have James Cheap Cheap

Carter. I prefer to think of myself as Boss Bass, but I do fly a little too close to the sun occasionally, so that's cheap-cheap fits.

Cheap, also by nature.
