here hi Tavi hi Tavi hi Tavia and Yongo is professor of African American

Studies American Studies and Theater Studies at Yale

University. He works in contemporary art, theory, and blackness, and is a recovering

accelerationist. I didn't know that. It's a journey. How's it going? Okay. One day at a time.

Right. He has written two books, The Amalgamation Waltz from 2009, that won many awards, and his second book, Afrofabulations,

The Queer Drama of Black Life, came out this winter and considers memory and history in black art and performance at the intersection of queer aesthetics.

And yoga has written for many publications, including Freeze, Art Forum, Text is Aksunst, and October.

He is co-editor of the Sexual Cultures Book Series at New York University Press,
