Hello and welcome to the weekend edition of Inside the Huddled,

joining me to discuss the latest news from the NFL, Mike Carlson of the BBC.

First, we should discuss the lineup for Super Bowl 45.

The Dallas Cowboys Stadium will play host to the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers and

Mike. In terms of NFL pedigree, 12 NFL championships for the Packers, six Super Bowl

wins for the Steelers. This is a perfect matchup, really. Yeah, it's interesting with the history

because, you know, there are two of the more storied franchises in League history, but the Steelers

actually, until the 70s, were a perennial loser. And the Packers

were perennial losers through the 50s. And in the 70s and 90s as well. So, you know, it's nice to

see them both back. And, you know, the Steelers are one of those elite teams that I always point to

is saying every year they turn over, they bring guys along within the system they there's not a lot of coaching

change there's not a lot of chaos yeah it's it's exemplar you know the the colts the patriots the

ravens teams like that the charges to an extent the packers are becoming like that you know

with ted thompson and mike mccarthy yeah they're going back to that steady thing they had when

ron wolf was there in the

90s and bring again, bringing people in within the system and both these teams have had a lot of

guys had to step up during the year. We'll get into the X's and O's of Super Bowl 45 next week when

we really break down how the Green Bay Packers and the Steelers can win that game. But let's just

touch on it a little bit and look at the quarterbacks in this game

because we've seen it in the NFL so often.

Now, quarterbacking is such an important thing.

And yes, you can still maybe live by the old adage that defense wins championships,
