Welcome into this Super Bowl edition, Recap edition of Pushing the Pile, Mike Brenner, J.P. Acosta. JP, unfortunately, I kind of gave my take on how this was going to go earlier. I said 30 to 10. I decided it would be a laffer. And I think we got something kind of close to that. 2913, the Seahawks win. We haven't gotten the MVP yet. First off the top here, who do you think? Who do you think? I don't care who you think wins it because trying to predict who they're going to vote for, not always something we can be great at, but who do you think deserves it the most here? This is go to Devin-Wenterspoon. By every account, this should be a member of

the Seahawks defense, Wayne, the Super Bowl MVP. I know how well Kenneth Walker ran in this game

to sort of grind out the tough yards in this game for Seahawks. I understand Jason Myers making

all those kicks. This defense deserves the MVP for that performance that they put on. Witherspoon was the most impactful player, all those kicks. This defense deserves the MVP for that performance that they put on.

Witherspoon was the most impactful player, all those pressures. And it felt like

something Mike McDonald knew going into the game about all those nickel pressures,

all the BGAP pressures that they were sending. And it felt like Witherspoon, every time he

was blitzing, he was getting home. The strip sack that went for the touchdown.

I think that just put the icing on the cake for it.

But I would vote for Devin Witherspoon if I had MVP.

See, I'm torn because Witherspoon, I think very disservice.

I mean, those corner blitzes were that big differentiating the game. They had no

answer to the Patriots seemingly all night. Kenneth Walker, though, was superb in this one,

135 yards, eight broken tackles. I mean, his ability, I think, and I hate saying this,

because I don't think it actually mattered, but the Zach Sharbonay injury, I think, made this offense better, not to be, like, because Kenneth Walker is just

so much more dynamic than Zach Charbonnet is, kind of just pushing the running back by committee

away and just saying, hey, Kenneth Walker, you're going to get damn near a 30 touch scheme. Like,

you're going to be the offense when we want to run the football. I think that just added an explosive, or just took the explosive element of Kenneth Walker and made this offense just more dynamic. So it's a toss up. If it's anyone other than those two, though, I think we ride. Like, it has to be one of those two, my eyes.

Yeah, I understand, like, everybody wants to be sort of the sicko and give it to Jason Myers.

And he did have a great game, but you're not giving the Super Bowl MVP to a kicker, like,
