Michael Ian Black is a multi-media talent whoβs starred in numerous films and TV series, written and/or directed two films, is a prolific author and commentator, and regularly tours the country performing his ribald brand of jokes and observations.

Blackβs authored 11 books, including the recently released best seller, βA Childβs First Book of Trump.β Heβs written two well-received memoirs: βNavel Gazing: True Tales of Bodies, Mostly Mine (but also my momβs, which I know sounds weird)β, and βYou're Not Doing It Right: Tales of Marriage, Sex, Death and Other Humiliations.β In 2012, he collaborated with conservative Meghan McCain on βAmerica, You Sexy Bitch: A Love Letter to Freedom.β Heβs the author of βMy Custom Van (and 50 Other Mind-Blowing Essays That Will Blow Your Mind All Over Your Face),β and seven children's books, including βCock-a-Doodle-Doo-Bop!,β βNakedβ, βChicken Cheeks,β βThe Purple Kangaroo,β βA Pig Parade Is A Terrible Ideaβ and βI'm Bored.β He also writes book reviews for the New York Times.
Previously, Black released two stand-up specials, βVery Famousβ and βI Am A Wonderful Man.β He and Tom Cavanagh host the popular podcast, βMike and Tom Eat Snacks.β He also writes and hosts a podcast with Michael Showalter, "Topics,β and his own interview podcast, βHow To Be Amazing.β He hosts βDebate Warsβ on SeeSo, and he recently hosted βEasiest Game Show Everβ on Pop TV.
Sketch comedy fans know Blackβs work on βThe State,β βViva Variety,β βStellaβ and βMichael and Michael Have Issuesβ all of which he co-created, wrote and starred in. Other TV credits include quirky bowling alley manager βPhil' on the NBC series βEd,β and his hilarious commentary on cableβs βI Love the...β series. He recently starred in two hit web series that migrated to cable TV: βBurning Loveβ on E! and βYouβre Wholeβ on Adult Swim.
Blackβs movie roles include βSlash,β βSmosh: The Movie,β βThey Came Together,β βHell Baby,β βThis is 40,β βWet Hot American Summer,β βTake Me Home Tonight,β βReno 911!: Miami,β βThe Tenβ and βThe Baxter.β
Black wrote and directed the film βWedding Daze,β starring Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher. He also co-wrote the comedy βRun, Fatboy, Run,β directed by David Schwimmer and starring Simon Pegg, Hank Azaria and Thandie Newton.
