Hello and welcome to a bonus episode of Stand Up where I welcome my good friend Mara Quint back to the program.

She, I try to get her on the program as often as I can once a week or so and have for the history of

the show because I think she is one of the smartest, most passionate and hilariously brilliant

people that I know period but today's conversation

especially for two reasons one we covered the election outcome and what the

abortion issue means she gave her own very always original outlook on that as well as

debate recap and nobody does it better than more acquint because she every time writes

these hilarious recaps of the debates.

But then she gives us these great insights on tax policy because of course she works for the Americans for

tax fairness nonprofit organization in Washington DC where she runs their

campaign she's also forced the co-founder of Tax March.org, movement and organization, and really a

tax-pulse analyst expert who explains some really important stuff on today's program.

But then there's this bonus moment that happens during my conversation with Mara where right in the middle of it the dog got out of the house

Supposed to be getting groomed. I know I roll but she got out and she ran out to the shed my dog and I had to stop for a moment

But when I ran the dog back inside for the groomer who had just showed up

Mara just kept talking after I left the shed as a bit making fun of me and ripping on dogs

and dog owners and dogs lives and it was just hilarious.

She just kept talking and waited for me to run back and then she picked up

on her very serious point about the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and his
