Daybreak does a lot to impress upon Americans how important the war in Ukraine

is to Ukrainians and the reality of it all, because Matt's been there three times now, and

he's written yet another novel about it great guy great book great interview I think you're going to love that we start at

listens to the show almost every night when he's falling asleep and then said that the volume of John Carroll's song at the end of the

show is too loud. It becomes very loud and it upsets him and so maybe I'll bring that down for you Dave but more importantly he

went on to be very critical of kind of the style of the show which I

appreciated he said I regularly listen to your show at bedtime. I think it's mainly because it's predictable and content. Mostly Democratic partisan to ultra-partisan rhetoric as a centrist lefty. I find it easy to follow the dialogue and lines of thinking.

Many of the talking points and perspectives are extremely familiar to me and that takes

irks me are very familiar to me.

I say it's not to insult, but to add perspective, I I'm a fan I listen to 90% of the

episodes 90% of all episodes he says I respect wanting to challenge what people

think and I presume you're trying to change people's minds I'm just not sure your show changes many minds.

Well, Dave, I don't know. I'm not positive that I'm trying to change minds, per se.

I mean, I'm not sure that's necessarily my responsibility or even possible.
