| 1:04.8 | It wasn't long before a vision appeared before them. It was the spirit of the Virgin Mary, |
| 1:09.8 | who told them that she would reveal herself on the 13th day of each month for the next six months. |
| 1:15.6 | There was just one catch, only the oldest child, Lucia, would be able to see her. |
| 1:20.8 | The young girl would then have to tell the others what she had witnessed. |
| 1:25.3 | On the 13th of October, it happened again. News spread. Newspapers published stories about |

| 1:46.3 | looked down on them with raised eyebrows and a healthy dose of skepticism. |
| 1:50.8 | But the church's dismissal of the prophecy did not stop 70,000 people from |
| 1:55.9 | showing up in the town on October 13th of 1917. They had come to see for |
