Hello, Sunny Austin. Hi, Brian. It is Tuesday, March 4th. Let's talk about today's show. I thought it was a really great show, actually. We had people from different perspectives, both very smart guests and interesting conversations.

In her first interview since leaving the White House today, let's start there.

Former Press Secretary, Corrine Jean-Pierre, was with us.

And she said that this administration, barring certain outlets from the White House briefing room, is the same thing as State TV, which I thought was a pretty impactful

way to phrase it.

What did you think of this?

I think she's absolutely right.

I mean, you know, she said so many things that I agree with, but the First Amendment

is the First Amendment for a reason, and that's freedom of the press, and because I think

our forefathers really understood if you look at the history and you look

at some of what was taking place on the floor when they were drafting these amendments and

wonky lawyers like me do things like that, they made it clear that a free press was important, was most important to a democracy. And without a free press,

without the fourth estate, you don't have a true democracy. And that's why you don't see the
