man-held by police after attempting a silent protest of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

during a speech at George Washington University. you are not alone and we are with you.

Then the government pulled the plug.

Cell phone service was cut off.

TV satellite signals were jammed and internet access was blocked for nearly the entire country.

So this is America.

This is America.

Who are you?

To communicate with each other.

And it did not want to rest to communicate with the public.

As many observers are noting, the irony of an elderly man being arrested for a silent protest during a speech in which Clinton was

extolling the actions of the recent Egyptian protesters in their fight for democracy seems completely

lost on Clinton herself who continued with her prepared remarks as if nothing at all had just

taken place in front of her. In the face of a complete lack of mainstream media

coverage of the incident and the total unwillingness of major media

personalities to even seek comment from the agencies involved,

Citizen Media has once again had to step up to fill in the void.
