if you brought you Bibles this morning, turn with me if you would to the book of Second

Samuel and I'm reading from the the only ordained translation by the Lord the good old-fashioned King James

version. The Bible says 2nd Samuel 5 and 13 and David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem

after he was come from Hebrew and there were yet sons and daughters born to

David.

First 14, and there be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem,

Shamua and Shobab and Nathan and Solomon,

Ephar also in Elishua, in Nephek, and Jaffia,

in Elishama, and Eliyada, and Elitfeldt.

Now if we go on down to second Samuel, I won't read, but in

verse 15 and 16, 16 and 22 and 20 and 3, we see how the great King David, who in 1st Samuel, 13, I believe it is, is called

the Apple of God's Eye, or excuse me, that's the song that records him as the apple of God's eye.

First Samuel deals with the blessing of David and calls him a man after God's own harm.

Now this same man after God's own heart also notoriously led the Hittite

your eye of a friend of his David sent him purposely in battle to be killed so that he could then

marry his wife, the Sheba, which also was probably a lifetime achievement ward at the

Player Haters Ball.

And their son was a guy named Solomon who, as you might have noted in the scripture,

was a fan of strange women, had a problem with strange women. Let us go to the Lord and
