Amen. Amen. Amen. Good morning. Welcome. Well, you're a chipper group today.

You can be seated. Thank you. So glad you're here. And those of you online, we're glad that you're joining with us as well.

We're going to complete chapter five today in our trek through the amazing book of revelation,

which we're studying verse by verse. Our text is going to be chapter 5 beginning in verse 8,

and Lord willing, we'll make it through to verse 14. So what I'll do, I know you just sat down,

I probably should have told you to stay standing, but if you're

having Catholic flashbacks, I'm sorry about that. But if you wouldn't mind, can I try, if not

where you're seated is fine, but if you can stand for the reading of God's word, you can

follow along with me. If not again, where you're seated is fine. We won't look at you any differently.

Don't look at anybody any differently if they're not standing up. So the Apostle John, by the

Holy Spirit now is continuing, recording, writing, that which he's told to write, specifically about that which he is beholding

in heaven. What he sees in heaven after being caught up, raptured up to heaven in chapter

4 verse 1.

And he goes on in verse 8 and says,

and when he, speaking of Jesus,

had taken it, speaking of the scroll with seven seals,

the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the lamb.

Each one had a harp.

This is where all those images of what are you going to do in heaven, just play the harp all the time.

Can you please take those pictures out of your mind off your walls or your computers or wherever they are?

Picture instead, you know, those small liars, those stringed instruments, but the big harp you see in an orchestra.

But each one had one of these harps and they were holding golden bowls.
