So I figured we'd start off this Lexio episode, this special edition of our Lenton

meditations on the Sunday readings by asking about our biggest Lenton

mistakes.

What is the worst penance we've done?

And I'll go first just to show that I'm not above this, right?

So when I was a freshman in college

at Hanover in Southern Indiana,

I decided to be a vegetarian for Lent.

And that was extraordinarily difficult, I will say.

And then at the end of Lent after the Easter Vigil, some friends and I went to the little Burger

Shack in downtown Madison, Indiana's cool little place, and I pounded a bunch of sliders, nice little hamburgers, and that was a very poor decision because my body was not prepared for hamburger.

That's wonderful.

We know what sliders are.
